Chalk Cheers!

Chalk greetings for back-to-school at
Monticello, Noble and Oxford

On Aug. 23, 2021, Noble Neighbors gathered at the three CHUH schools in our neighborhood to chalk a carpet of encouragement for our students' first day back. We especially enjoyed the kiddos who joined us!

Chalk greetings for back-to-school at Caledonia

Residents, parents, students, the principal, staff, a school board member all gathered on Aug 18, 2021 at 6pm, the evening before school started at Caledonia School to create a delightful entry for students on their first day of school. This building houses Kindergarten, First and Second graders. What fun we had!!

Chalk Greetings to Welcome Students Back to School

On the evening before school started in 2019, with about 24 hours notice on social media, a group of neighbors gathered to write well-wishes to students returning to Monticello Middle School. It's renovation was complete and kids were stepping into a new year in an exciting building.
These photos were taken that evening. Alas, an overnight gully-washer rainstorm washed it all away, but we documented it on social media for students, faculty and staff to know how much support the community was offering them.
